.00Fast and lightweight, the Speeder shares some of its genes with road bikes.
The frame geometry is sporty with a more upright riding position that's noticeably different to conventional road bikes with drop bars, making it an excellent choice for riders wanting road bike style and efficiency with added comfort.
Merida use the same triple butted 6066 series aluminium they use on road bikes which is hydroformed to tune the frame for a comfortable, responsive ride. The addition of a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer delivers precise steering and a smooth ride.
The upright position, flat bars and powerful hydraulic disc brakes are ideal for commuting, providing greater control and an enhanced field of vision when riding through traffic.
For versatility, the frame can accommodate wider tyres up to 35mm, or 32mm with mudguards.
